The University of Notre Dame, a SHECP member school, will host the 2019 Catholic Social Tradition Conference, Option for the Poor: Engaging the Social Tradition, March 21-23, 2019. By assembling experts in Catholic social ethics, the conference seeks to identify social issues and practical responses adequate to address the difficulty of resulting injustices.
The Center for Social Concerns at the University of Notre Dame is now accepting proposals for papers or creative works. Presenters should provide original and creative insights into the systemic problems faced by marginalized populations and how to address them through the lens of the Catholic social tradition. Abstract is limited to 500 words. The deadline for submission is November 30, 2018.
